Bhumika Palni talks about Saransh, an initiative for children suffering from Down Syndrome

Saransh is an initiative started by Bhumika Palni and Anchal Sakhuja, who are the students of BBA (Financial Services and Marketing), UPES. Saransh, Bhumika’s brother suffers from Down syndrome. The fact there are many things in which he is smarter than Bhumika and once helped and trained by Bhumika and Anchal he started doing things perfectly. This worked as a source of inspiration for both Bhumika and Anchal to help other kids who need guidance and support. Saransh will train and provide employment to the differently abled people, both mentally and physically differently abled people, along with this Saransh will provide employment to village people, women, senior citizens, special school teachers and the mothers of those differently abled people. It will also use an online portal to find people who need training, trainers and potential employers. Activity based training session in cooking, sewing, housekeeping, making bakery products, gardening, Carpentry and small office work will be provided to the enrolled students at a nominal cost. They had presented it in Amity’s Lakshya-2017, National Level B-Plan Competition and were among the top 10 teams who won the competition. They would like to thank the entire entrepreneurship cell, both faculty and fellow mates for their constant support and appreciation.
